   Our professional and caring instructors offer fun and exciting dance classes to students from 3-year-olds to adults. Classes are designed to be developmentally and physically age-appropriate. We train students to master the flow of movement and rhythm. Students will have opportunities to perform on stage which can build up students’ confidence. 

Classes

Class Levels ...

​Preballet                                
Ages 3-4.  No previous training. Emphasis is on creative movement.
  

Preballet 2      
Ages 4-5.  Basic ballet steps and creative movement.  One year in Preballet required if 4, or age 5 for beginners.



​Beginner Ballet
Ages 6-8. Basic ballet technique with little or no prior training.



​Ballet 1
Ages 5-7. Basic ballet technique with 2-3 years prior training.



​Ballet 2
Ages 6-9.  Beginner-intermediate.3-4 years prior training. Two classes/week recommended.



​Point
Ages 8-12. Intermediate. 4-5 years prior training. 
Intermediate - Advanced with emphasis on pointe technique.

Hip Hop/Jazz (Beg. and Int.)
Ages 5 and up. 
Come step into the world of Hip Hop and Jazz. From Cole to Fosse to MTV, Jazz dance has spread its roots from Broadway to the popular culture of Music Video. This action packed class takes you through a dynamic workout that tests your flexibility and teaches you the technique necessary to spin through any dance class.



​Chinese Classic & Folk Dance
Ages 5 - up.  Two classes/week required. 
This class works on the traditional folk dancing movements, basic Chinese Opera and fundamental Chinese Kung Fu to build on the essential technique. In addition to learn the dances, our students also learn history and geography of the dances.

 

​Yoga 
All ages.  
Wake up your senses! Enjoy the simple aesthetic of Yoga and the take it to next level by turning it into a performance piece. Classes will explore different yoga poses, discover breathe, and cultivate strength and flexibility. From there students will journey on to connect their poses with music into a rhythmic flow of yoga dance! Finally class will end with a sampling of different chocolate flavors in order to compliment the heightened awareness that comes with the practice.



​Pilates

All ages. One hour group class that focuses on breath, body mechanics and core strength. Come take this class to increase your posture, coordination and flexibility, while building long lean musculature and an overall sense of wellbeing.

 

​Gymnastics & Tumbling
Ages 9-13.  Basic technique with little or no prior training.



​Adult Ballet & Jazz (Beg. and Int.)
Age 14 and up.
